Who are u?

Hi I’m naya. I’m 19 years old but I will be 20 on this December. I’m studying in Bachelor of Arts program in language and culture and I was exchange student in Argentina on 2013

One story

When I arrived Argentina,my host’s restroom couldn’t close the door.Normally,they supposed to be able right? . One day I really rush to restroom and then I opened the door.I saw my host mother was doing her business. 5 minute later,she came to me and said restroom is available now. I was really shocked because she act like nothing happened.

Argentina is a federal republic located in southeastern South America.Argentina is the eighth-largest country in the world. The highest and the lowest points of South America are also located in Argentina.Buenos Aires is Argentina’s capital city.

Asado is a term used both for a range of barbecue techniques and the social event of having or attending a barbecue in Argentina and Uruguay, where it is an exceptionally popular dish. In these countries, asado is a traditional dish and also the standard word for “barbecue”


2 ravioles

Ravioli are a type of dumpling composed of a filling sealed between two layers of thin pasta dough. Usually served either in broth or with a pasta sauce, they originated as a traditional food in Italian cuisine.


3. Dulce de leche

Dulce de leche is a confection prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk to create a substance that derives its taste from the Maillard reaction, changing flavour and colour. Literally translated, it means “Jam of milk” or “sweet of milk.”Its origin is a highly debated topic and it is popular in most of Latin American countries.


4.empanadas or empanada

An empanada  is a stuffed bread or pastry baked or fried in many countries in Latin Europe, Latin America, the United States, and parts of Southeast Asia. The name comes from the Galician, Portuguese, and Spanish verb empanar, meaning to wrap or coat in bread.


5. croqueta or croquette

A croquette is a small breadcrumbed fried food roll containing, usually as main ingredients, mashed potatoes or ground meat (veal, beef, chicken, or turkey), shellfish, fish, cheese, vegetables, and mixed with béchamel or brown sauce,and soaked white bread, egg, onion, spices and herbs, wine, milk, beer, or any of the combination thereof, sometimes with a filling, e.g. sautéed onions, mushrooms, or boiled eggs (Scotch eggs)

En büyük Turkiye

                Yoooo,this is my first blog and it is going to show you a food around the world that recognised by many exchange student who went abroad.  I was also exchange student.My host country is Turkey therefore I will started this blog with my food list in Turkey.

Tips from Turkey!!!

Turkey is a parliamentary republic in Eurasia(located on two continent Asia and Europe). About 90% of people in Turkey are muslim and Turkey’s capital city is Ankara but most people think that It is Istanbul.Because Istanbul is more Known than Ankara also Istanbul is a centre of economic in Turkey.

Turkey is a muslim country so I have to forget about eating pork here for 1 year. Turks’ people eat much of bread like euro country but they still has a smell of Asia in their food.They use a lot of spices and their food is tasted a bit salty.So let’s start my list with the first menu.


Kebab is one of the most popular food in turkey.Kebab is a common dish, consisting of a skewer with small pieces of meat or seafood, together with vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers.In Turkey they have many kind of  Kebab:Shish kebab,Cağ Kebab,Döner kebab,Adana kebab,Steam kebab,Testi kebab.For me my favourite kebab is Döner kebab because it is cheap and easy to eat.maxresdefault-1Shish kebab

Ayran is a cold yogurt beverage mixed with salt.In addition to Turkey, where it is considered a national drink, ayran can be found in neighbouring nations including former Turkish colonies, being part of the cuisine in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Iran, and Arab countries.I was try it once but I am not into it.


3. Dolma

Dolma is a family of stuffed vegetable dishes common in the Middle East and surrounding regions.Common vegetables to stuff include tomato, pepper, onion, zucchini, eggplant, and garlic. The stuffing may or may not include meat. Meat dolmas are generally served warm.


4. Lahmacun (Turkish pizza)

Lahmacun is a round, thin piece of dough topped with minced meat (most commonly beef or lamb) and minced vegetables and herbs including onions, tomatoes and parsley, then baked. Lahmacun is often served with Ayran or other traditional drink and wrapped around vegetables, including pickles, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, and roasted eggplant.



5.(Lokum)Turkish delight

Lokum is a family of confections based on a gel of starch and sugar. Premium varieties consist largely of chopped dates, pistachios, and hazelnuts or walnuts bound by the gel; traditional varieties are mostly flavoured with rosewater, mastic, Bergamot orange, or lemon.
